Police arrested blogger Abdellatif Ouaiss last Sunday, after storming his family home on Friday evening in Temara, searching it and seizing his laptop. Abdellatif was presented to the Public Prosecutor on Tuesday.

His family was not sure of the charges against him, but according to another source close to him, Abdellatif signed the police report under duress, and was arrested due to an article published in his English-language site in which he criticized the ten-year rule of King Mohammed VI.
