Moroccan blogger Hassan Barhon was arrested on 25 February 2009, for exposing a corruption case involving the prosecutor general for the king of Morocco. he was sentenced to ten months' prison, but was given a full royal pardon after spending five months in prison. He was released 1 August, 2009.
