The 26 years old Hasan Salman is an online activist from Bahrain. On 14 May 2009 he was arrested by Bahraini Authorities (national security) because of posts he published on BahrainOnline with the names of all the national security agents. On 16th Sep 2009 Hasan was sentenced by the High Criminal Court to three years in prison, without presenting any evidence of the proposed crime in front of court, and disregarding Hasan’s denial.
