Marko Rakar, blogger and founder of pollitika.com, known for his political notes on his blog about the political situation of this south European country, was arrested in relation to the leaked registry of Croatian War veterans (claimed to be state secret), and published at http://registarbranitelja.com/, a search engine which allows to search war veterans' database. Marko has been held for about seven hours then released.

Marko is the winner of the 2009 e-Democracy Award and amongst the Top 10 Who Are Changing the World of Internet and Politics.
