Head of Youth Human Rights Group Karelia (Russia).

Placed under investigation and charged with "extremism" after publishing a blog post entitled "Karelia is tired of the Pope" (Russian) in December 2011.

Recently fled to Poland to escape psychiatric incarceration. Yefimov is still charged with violating Article 282 of the Russian Criminal Code (inciting religious hatred). If convicted, Yefimov could face up to two years in prison.
