
Mohammad Soleimani Nia
Arrested on 22 May 2012
Mohammad Soleimani Nia, a social-media expert and the founder of Iranian social networking site u24, was recently arrested for the second time this year after being released on bail in May following a 28-day hunger strike. Soleimani Nia, aged 40, was first arrested in January on unknown charges.
Soleimani Nia's whereabouts are currently unknown, but he is presumed to be held at Evin Prison in Tehran.
