Ecuadorian blogger Paúl Moreno (@paulcoyote) was briefly detained on December 1, 2012, on charges of fraudulent access to computer systems and databases, after publishing a post where he explains how he accessed the information of President Rafael Correa to show the vulnerability of a official site: www.www.datoseguro.gob.ec [es].

President Rafael Correa ordered the blogger's release after three days of detention.

Twitter users have set up a campaign with the hashtag #LiberenaPaulCoyote [es] (free PaulCoyote).
