Tal al-Molouhi is 19 year old Syrian blogger who was arrested for an article that she published online. Syrian State Security summoned her on December 27th 2009. Following her arrest, security officers also seized her personal computer from her parents' house.

After being held in solitary confinement for nearly a year, Al-Moulouhi's family was allowed to visit her in September 2010. In October of 2010, she was sentenced to five years in prison for "divulging information to a foreign state," a crime of "high treason."
