Woeser, who, like many Tibetans, goes by a single name, is a Tibetan writer and blogs extensively on ethnic minority issue in China. Recently she were interrogated by police after she has initiated a signature campaign for the release of Uighur professor of Minzu University of China and founder of Uighurbiz, IIham Tohti.
